Ah Manasi, good point there, launchers should be brought on par with turrets for this to work well else my change is indeed going to doom caldari entirely. While I would rather see them become more used than the usual fleet support roles :o

Myr, I understand the desire to 'nerf' ECM, however what else in PvP is a caldari ship to do reliably? Missilie slinging is good for PvE but severly gimps effectiveness in PvP. Railguns are a different matter tho. So while most PvP in Caldari ships is with moderately prices Heavy assualts or Specilized ships, if you take away one specilization (ECM) what are they to do? That would limit them in PvP scenarios to Rails or perhaps in your face with rocketsor HAM's (heavy assuaslts....in a shield tank ship, in your face does not always turn out too well.

Well darn, I just wrote a very long reply to your comment and lost it. Short version is that I am not yet a falcon pilot but do fly the blackbird and griffin. I do see falcons often still but more and more where they belong, in a roaming force recon gang. This was not meant to be a falcon praising or bashing post though. I just feel the ECM changes I outlined here could make all ECM platforms more versatile just like the Amarr with tracking disruption. Granted some review of bonuses might be in order though.

I would count how many Falcons you meet now days, because I noticed ECM is a dead horse since the ECM patch. I do not even think you fly Falcon as no Falcon pilot will use terms "happily jam from a fair range" or say "will just stack up those ECM jammers". These sentences are heavily missleading...
